About Mviringo Africa

Mviringo Africa emerged from the discussions held during the Planeteer Wind Summit on July 29th, 2023, where the concept of a circular economy was the main point of discussion. Natalie Bullut inspired by the desire to address plastic pollution at Catholic University collaborated with Ruth Tanui to design the first project. The first project’s aim was to curb plastic pollution at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa by strategically placing segregated bins to promote recycling of plastics as one of its solutions. With a focus on circular economy, Mviringo further works to promote climate action through education, meaningful youth involvement, gender equality in sustainable development, and responsible production and consumption.
